SURGICAL
Verisyse™ Intraocular Lens
What is Verisyse™?
The Verisyse™ Phakic Intraocular Lens is a small microlens implant placed into the eye to reduce the impact of very high degrees of nearsightedness.

The procedure
The Verisyse™ lens is placed behind the cornea without removing the natural lens. It is then clipped to the front of the iris, or colored portion, to make it stable. The surgery takes less than one hour. Most patients can resume normal activities within a couple of days.

Verisyse™ results
Called "one of the most amazing inventions of 2004" by Time magazine, the Verisyse™ lens implant has been safely and effectively used in Europe for more than a dozen years.
